Fantasy
Gambling
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
Welcome to FantasyGamblingClub.com, where you bet
fantasy cash on the outcome of real sporting events and compete against your
friends in various Divisions. There is a Division that is exclusively for
betting on NFL football, a Division that is exclusively for betting on College
Football, a Division for College Basketball, an NBA Division, and an Elite
Division that will allow you to place bets on any event for which we have odds.
Whether you are a beginning sports gambler or a grizzly veteran, this is the
game for you. The rules for Fantasy Gambling are explained fully in this
document.
Getting
Started:
Creating
a Member Account
In order to participate at FantasyGamblingClub.com
you will first need to create an account. All account fields are required. Once
an account has been created, you will have the option of joining a Division.
The
Division
A Division is composed of a group of members
wagering fantasy money on a single
sport (such as the NFL or College Basketball), except for the Elite Division,
which will consist of a group of members wagering fantasy money on any sport or event that FantasyGamblingClub.com
posts odds.
Select
Divisions
The Fantasy Gambling Club now provides its members
with the ability to play in a free Division or to register for a Select
Division. Select Divisions are $10 a
Profile and a member can have an unlimited number of profiles.
80% of each profile’s $10 will be into a pot for
prize money. For example, if there are
200 profiles in a Select Division, then the prize money for that pot is
$1,600. The pot size can not exceed $10,000 in prize money.
There are 29 Weeks in the Spring Season.
Each Period will consist of 2 weeks, meaning there
are 11 Periods in the Fall season. 40% of the total pot will be split up into
the total number of weeks. For example,
if there are 200 people registered in a Select Division at the start of the
first Period, then the total pot for the first week will be $58.18 [40% of ($8 x 200)] / 11 Periods.
If a member joins in the middle of a period, the
money will be divided up by the number of remaining Periods INCLUDING the
period in which they register. If a
member joins in the middle of the Fall season, 40% of
their Profile fee will be divided by the number of remaining Periods INCUDING
the period in which they register.
At the end of each Period, the Profile with the
most amount of Fantasy Money will win the cash prize. At the end of the Fall
season, the Profile with the most amount of Fantasy Money will win the
remaining 60% of the pot. For example,
if there are 200 Profiles, the end of season pot will be $960.
Winning Profiles will be contacted within a week of
the end of the Period/Fall Season via the account information registered to the
Profile.
Free Divisions
A member can join any Free Division and as many
Free Divisions as they would like to join, at any point during the season.
However, a member can only create a single Profile within a given Free Division
unless they do not have another Profile within that Free Division that has a
balance of more than -$5,000.
Joining
A Division
When joining a Division, members will first
be asked to create a Division Profile Name (i.e. The High Roller). For every
division the member joins, they will be given $1000 which can only be wagered
on events within that division. For example, if The High Roller has a balance
of $1850 in a NFL division and a balance of $0 in a College Football division,
The High Roller cannot use any portion of the $1850 to place a bet in the
College Football division.

When you see a spread line on this website, like
the one above, you should think of it as a handicap. You can either bet on the Oakland A's or the Boston
Red Sox.
Since the spread reads Oakland -1.5, your options are the following:
If you place a bet on Oakland, you will need them to either win the
baseball game out-right OR you need them to lose the game by less than 1.5 runs
for you to win your bet.
If you bet on Boston, you will need them to either win the
baseball game out-right OR you need them to lose the game by less than 1.5 runs
for you to win your bet.

Betting
Amounts
You are not allowed to bet more than the total
amount of cash in your Division Profile, whether on a single game or
collectively on multiple games. The minimum bet is $1.00 and all bets must be
rounded to the nearest dollar. Note that you cannot bet more than $2000 total
on one event, whether it be in the form of a single bet or multiple bets who's sum adds up to over $2000.
Tony The Loan Shark
When your
Division Profile runs out of money, the Profile balance and cash will both be
$0. At that point in time you will need to visit Tony the Loan Shark and he
will give you the option of borrowing either $100 or $1000.
You may also borrow money if the sum of your Open
Bets and your Cash does not exceed $1000.
When you make a Futures bet, for example, betting
$100 on the Atlanta Falcons to win the Super Bowl at 25-1, that $100 will not
count towards the money in your Open Bets (for loan purposes only). This will
allow you to have Futures Bets open and still be able to visit the loan shark.
However, when you have a loan out, you will not be allowed to make a Futures
bet.
Borrowing Money: Keep in mind that the services of Tony are not
free. For every loan that is taken out, Tony will charge and keep 10%.
Consequently, if you borrow $100, then $90 will be deposited into your account
and you will still owe the loan shark $100.
Interest: Every Wednesday Tony will add 10% to whatever you
owe him. For Example, if you owe him $100 on Tuesday, come Wednesday you will
owe him $110 and then the following Wednesday you will owe him $121.
Paying Off
The Loan:
The more quickly you pay back the money to Tony, the less interest the loan
will accrue. You have the
option of paying down $100, $1000 or paying off the entire loan.
